How often does electrical wiring need to be checked for safety?

There isn’t a fixed national schedule. We recommend a safety check when you notice issues and as part of routine inspections. Over the Moon performs onsite electrical safety inspections, and our VIP Gold Star Plan includes three home visits per year with an electrical safety inspection. This is especially helpful for older homes in Milwaukee and Waukesha County.
